SMI design and manufacture high tech machines equipped with IoT technology and provides the worldwide clients with innovative and Smart solutions capable of fully meeting their demands in terms of efficiency, reliability, flexibility, energy saving and simple management & monitoring of the production line.
SMI provides complete bottling lines and packaging systems for flat and carbonated beverages and liquid products in PET containers from 0.10 to 10 L, with output capacity from 3,600 to 33,600 bottles/hour.
The winner is.... The passion and innovation for blowing solution
Among the solutions for the blowing and bottling solutions, SMI has recently introduced the new ultra-compact rotary stretch-blow moulder EBS K ERGON, available both in stand-alone and in combined version, combined with an electronic filler and a capper. Thanks to this machine SMI was named one of 11 National Winners for The European Business Awards, Europe’s largest business competition. SMI rotary stretch blow-moulders series ensure high performances in the stretch blow-moulding of PET, PEN and PP bottles of different capacities, featuring various shapes, from the most simple to the most sophisticated ones.

With the launch of the ERGON technology SMI provides advanced solutions to the market and automated machines equipped with the latest technologies.
SMI manufactures a wide range of machines for secondary packaging (film shrink wrappers; tray packers; cardboard multipack sleevers; wrap-around case packers and combined packers), suitable for production of a wide range of PET, glass, aluminium and cardboard containers in different pack configuration up to 450 packs/minute.
