PF36 Series Family
New from Nissei ASB, the PF36 Series extends the range and capabilities of the company’s PF series by providing higher productivity and even greater efficiency.
All PF Series models mold PET containers by the Pioneering method developed by ASB known as the 1.5-step injection stretch blow molding. This process injection molds PET into preforms which are then stretch blow molded into finished containers within one machine.
The model which debuted at China Brew & Beverage 2018 is the PF36/36-600 denoting that it molds 36 preforms per cycle and is capable to mold bottles up to 600ml capacity. Because blow molding can be conducted much faster than injection molding an integrated 12 cavity linear blow system operates three times per injection molding cycle, thus maximizing the efficiency of each process in an extremely compact footprint.

Other models built on the same platform include;
- PF36/24-1500 – 24 preforms and 8 blow cavities up to 1,500ml.
- PF36/18-2000 – 18 preforms and 6 blow cavities up to 2,000ml.
- PF36/12-5000 – 12 preforms and 4 blow cavities up to 5,000ml.
In addition, further models are currently under development based on the same mechanical function and footprint which will be capable of molding 9 preform cavities for up to 10 liters capacity and 6 preform cavities for up to 12 liters.
The PF36 also features ASB’s newly developed Vision1 control system that improves cycle time, enhances operator feedback and is compatible with the Industry 4.0 standard for factory networking known as the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT).
