Packaging made of paper is the ecological alternative to plastic and offers a natural look and feel. Koehler offers packaging paper made of fresh fiber and recycled material. These papers and boards are easy to print on.

Our products are very easy to process and they catch the eye, whether used as external packaging or package inserts. Koehler packaging paper is especially suitable for luxury packaging and can be found in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, electronic products and food packaging.

The paper for flexible packaging is suited for a wide range of uses in flexible packaging where uncoated and coated papers are the best choice.

Pioneers in research and development expertise

In order to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable and responsible packaging solutions, Koehler is developing barrier papers with functional surfaces. The goal is to develop barriers that currently only plastic or multi-layer composites can offer. The company operates the Green Coating Collaboration together with the Technical University of Darmstadt. This is a unique research community that will create better sustainable packaging solutions for all industries.
