Serving the needs of the UK and Ireland since 2002

Since 2002, the Schubert Group has been successfully managing business in the UK market through its centrally headquartered subsidiary, Schubert UK Limited based in Birmingham. The city is centrally located and hosts the international airport and main arterial motorway networks.


Schubert UK consists of a loyal and experienced team of 14 employees, with over 150 years of collective service between them. Long-term staff retention bears witness to the Schubert company philosophy. The team works with passion in the areas of sales, technical support and administration – ensuring the best possible service for customers throughout UK and Ireland. Mark Stepney, who has over 30 years of experience in the packaging machinery industry, has been further growing the business as Managing Director since 2012.


Schubert serves the needs of varied market sectors such as Bakery, Confectionery, Dairy, Beverage, Pet Food and Healthcare. Schubert attracts its many customers throughout the UK and Ireland with its modular, future-proof TLM technology which continues to prove itself as an outstanding long-term investment. Flexibility, performance, efficiency and scalability are the cornerstones of any investment for Schubert customers in the UK. To date, Schubert UK Limited has delivered well in excess of 500 TLM frames and 2,000 robots to its customers.

Modular design and performance tailored to customer needs

Schubert’s eight standardised system components enable a highly adaptable machine structure, within which all functions, such as feeding, erecting, filling, capping/lidding/sealing, labelling, marking and palletising can be combined. These components, together with Schubert’s VMS control system, two-, three- and four-axis robots, image recognition systems and Transmodul, a rail-based transport robot, form the basis of the TLM machines.

The latest innovation, the Flowmodul flow-wrapping component, enables the seamless integration of packaging processes for an extensive variety of products, and can easily take on small batches, short product lifecycles and high product diversity with exceptional efficiently. In 2019, Schubert is rolling out its new, attractively priced lightline machine series, conceived to take on standardised packaging tasks, to the UK and Irish markets.
