Issue 63 • March 2022

We’ve all done it; sated our frustrations with ‘the way things are’ by shouting about them. Isn’t that what Social Media’s for, after all?

But, there’s always a step to be taken beyond telling anyone who’ll listen how angry you are about an issue: What are you actually going to do about it? In this issue, we make the (slightly risky) move of asking the consumer - the vital end user who’s made their feelings on the environment known very well; What are you going to do about it?

With more sustainable packaging options widely available, the choice is out there for consumers to flash their environmental credentials as much as manufacturers currently are. But, until these greener alternatives achieve serious scale, that choice comes with a price. Will the consumer put their money where their mouth is?

We’ve also got an air of a ‘cybersecurity special’ in this issue, as we look at both the threats that are out there and which packaging companies are best equipped to defend themselves.

All this and more in this latest issue of Inside Packaging.

Enjoy the mag!
