MotionCoat™ is a revolutionary UV coating system that adds motion-like effects to a printing project. The technology has unique self-registration characteristics that when used in conjunction with linear vector patterns creates an outstanding effect that has impact on the consumer. No additional hardware or retrofitting on existing equipment is necessary. Applied at standard press speeds, the system works on a variety of substrates.
Both flexo and litho versions are available.
ACTEGA’s Ice White™ UV and OptiWhite™ inks are some of the most opaque whites on the market. With high opacity, superior strength and fast cure speed, printers optimize use of their ink stations. This is because multiple hits of white ink are not required. Additionally, printing over foil substrates affords designers the ability to create toned effects with solid and transparent colors where the white is not necessary to achieve the maximum imagery impact.
The strength and beauty behind ACTEGA’s UV soft touch coating is the tactile depth is provides with its matte appearance. For use in a variety of markets, the soft tactile coating technology provides a smooth matte appearance while maintaining standard UV characteristics such as good block resistance. The 100% UV soft Touch coating does not require a primer and when used with a gloss coating offers an outstanding effect.

ACTEGA has placed a heavy focus on the developments of specialty coatings used in conjunction with digital printing methodologies.ACTEGA has formed an International Digital Technologies Group,a cooperative split between labs in Germany and the North America.
ACTEGA has placed particular emphasis on specialty coatings under the ACTDigi® trade name taking the decoration of digitally printed materials to another level beyond graphics into decoration. Additionally, ACTEGA has a UV and water based line ACTDigi® in-line and near-line digital primers complimenting ACTDigi® coatings portfolio.
