The deal promises to broaden in-house services, creating an expanded range of capabilities within the speciality tin can market. The company serves more than 20 distinct end markets, excelling in sectors such as Chemicals & Petroleum, Cookies & Candy, and Children’s Entertainment Products. 

Berlin Packaging acquires Alpack in Ireland 

Global packaging company TricorBraun has acquired Glassland, a renowned glass packaging provider, in a strategic move to enhance its premium glass packaging business, Vetroelite. The acquisition is expected to significantly contribute to the growth of TricorBraun’s German footprint while also expanding the company’s presence across Europe.

ACR acquires flexible packaging supplier TTM 

AmerCareRoyal (ACR), a supplier of disposable foodservice materials, has acquired US-headquartered packaging solutions supplier Thermosource Tooling and Manufacturing (TTM).  The acquisition is set to provide ACR with additional product lines and customer segments, as well as enhance its branded and customised packaging solutions portfolio.   

Visy acquires assets of collapsed recycling company ACP 

Australian packaging and recycling company Visy has announced the acquisition of assets of collapsed plastics recycling company Advanced Circular Polymers (ACP).    This strategic move is set to bolster Visy’s recycling operations and prevent a significant volume of hard-to-recycle plastics from ending up in landfills.
